This article outlines how basic billing works on the Adracare platform and walks through what you will need to configure in order to begin billing your clients.
Basic Billing lives up to its name in that it is very uncomplicated and you are able to begin using it with no configuration necessary. However, if you have a set constant price for your services, require professional details such as Degrees or College memberships available on your invoices/receipts, or would like to charge tax there is a small amount of configuration required.

Healthcare pricing
To configure the default price of your healthcare services that will appear when creating an invoice please follow these steps:

- Navigate to Service Templates under Settings
- Click on the Healthcare Service you would like to set the price for
- In the window that opens, fill in the price under Price
- Once done click on Update Service to save your changes
- Navigate to Service Templates under Settings
Provider Configuration
If you require any of the following information to appear on your invoices, you will need to create a Provider Billing Configuration.
- Tax Code if applicable
- Professional Degree/Designation
- College Membership

If your services are taxed, you will need to create a tax code under the Tax tab within Billing.
