This article outlines how to view and change an invoice status.
Only invoices that have the Manual (e-transfer, cheque, processed in person) or Third Party Payer payment method selected can be manually updated. Invoices that are being paid through our Stripe integration are directly updated by Stripe and cannot be manually updated.
If enabled, admin users are able to manually move invoices back from Paid to Sent which will send out an Undo Paid Status notification to inform the client. Once moved back to Sent the status can be updated as usual.
Updating the Status of an Unpaid Invoice
- Navigate to Invoices
- View the status of an invoice by looking at the 'Status' column. Below are the following status that may appear:
- Draft
- Sent
- Paid
- Void
- Uncollectible
- To update a status, you are able to manually select the 'v' arrow next to the status which will open a dropdown list to select a change of status:

Click Confirm in the change status confirmation window that appears
