Applying Video Effects before Joining the call

Toggling Blur On/Off

1. On the Video/Audio confirmation screen after the Call test click the Video Effects button (highlighted below)
   
   
   
   
2. A Settings window will open with the Effects tab open. Select No Blur, Light Blur or Strong Blur to apply or remove a blur effect
   
   
   
   
3. Click Apply to save your changes (or Cancel to remove)
4. Click the x in the upper right of the Settings window or click outside the window to close it

Applying a Virtual Background

1. On the Video/Audio confirmation screen after the Call test click the Video Effects button (highlighted below)
   
   
   
   
2. A Settings window will open with the Effects tab open. Select a background from the list
   
   
   
   
3. Alternatively, you can upload a custom background
   
   
   
   
4. Click Apply to save your changes (or Cancel to remove)
5. Click the x in the upper right of the Settings window or click outside the window to close it

Apply Video Effects within a call

1. Access your video settings with one of the two methods
   
   Method #1: From the system tray
   
   
   1. Hover over the Cam button from the video tray
      
      
      
      
   2. Click on Background Effects
      
      
      
   
   Method #2: From the call settings
   
   
   1. Click on the Gear button in the upper right
      
      
      
      
2. Click Effects to open the background effects area
   
   
   
   
3. Select No Blur, Light Blur or Strong Blur to apply or remove a blur effect
   
   
   
   
4. Click Apply to save your changes (or Cancel to remove)
5. Click the x in the upper right of the Settings window or click outside the window to close it
