Healthcare service templates allow patients to book specific types of appointments you offer to them and for your organization to select a specific service when booking appointments for patients.
ACCESSING SERVICE TEMPLATES:
- Click "Settings"
- Click "Service Templates"
NOTE: You will see a list of existing default service templates that are available in your organization. To edit or delete a service template click on the name of the service you wish to delete. You can edit the healthcare service as required. To delete, in the "Details" panel of the "Healthcare Service Details" page, click the "Delete" button to permanently delete the healthcare service.
CREATING NEW HEALTHCARE SERVICE TEMPLATES:
- Click the button in the top right "New Healthcare Service"
- On the "New Healthcare Service" panel it is mandatory to enter a "Name" and select a "Type of Patient" as denoted by the red arrows.
(Type of Patient refers to whether the healthcare service applies to new patients, existing patients or both patients and will determine what they are able to see when they book an appointment online and what services you can choose from when booking an appointment for the patient yourself on the Adracare platform.)
NOTE: It is helpful to select a "Duration (in minutes)", as indicated by the purple arrow, as it auto-populates the end time corresponding to the duration selected for the healthcare service when an appointment is booked from the Adracare platform.
NOTE: Selecting a "Colour", as indicated by the blue arrow, is a great visual indicator for providers to easily identify the type of service they are delivering for a specific patient and prepare accordingly. The colour will be shown as a sidebar on appointments in the calendar.
- Enter any of the other fields as required for the needs of your organization and click the "Create Healthcare Service" button in the bottom right. Your new healthcare service will now be available to select in the "Healthcare Service" dropdown when creating appointments within your organization or when patients use the online booking feature.
