By default, Adracare should be set up with a physical location (named HQ or similar) and a virtual location. Provider-Admins can add additional locations to schedule patients for an in-person appointment or a virtual appointment.
- Go to Settings > Locations
- Click the "Create Location" button at the top-right side of the page and the following will load
Create Physical Locations
- Type the Name of the physical location
- Type the address of the physical location and if applicable, select the address from the dropdown
Note : The address language format depends on the location of the address. For example, a Toronto address is an English format because Google detects the geographic area to be English-based, while a Montreal address is in a French format detects the geographic area to be French-based. - Select the Address Type of the physical location
- Leave "Online" unchecked
- Leave "Virtual Type" blank
- Check "Enable for Online Booking" if you want the location bookable on the Online Intake Form (optional)
- Type the phone number of the physical location (optional)
- Type the fax number of the physical location (optional)
- Select a default eForm (if applicable)
- Type a description (optional)
- Click Create Location
Create Hosted Locations
Created a Hosted location when you want to conduct an in-person appointment, but have another user join via an online appointment.
- Type the Name of the physical location
- Type the address of the physical location and if applicable, select the address from the dropdown (optional)

- Check "Online"
- Select "Hosted" as the Virtual Type
- Check "Enable for Online Booking" if you want the location bookable on the Online Intake Form (optional)
- Type the phone number of the physical location (optional)
- Type the fax number of the physical location (optional)
- Select a default eForm (if applicable)
- Type a description (optional)
- Click Create Location
Create Virtual Locations
Virtual Locations need to be configured, so that the access code and links can be properly created and sent upon scheduling an appointment.
Note: For the most part, organizations only require 1 virtual location. It is up to the Provider-Admin to decide to create more than virtual location.
- Type the Name of the physical location
- Leave Address blank
- Leave Address Type blank
- Check "Online"
- Select "Direct to Patient" from the "Virtual Type" dropdown
- Check "Enable for Online Booking" if you want the location bookable on the Online Intake Form (optional)
- Type the phone number of the physical location (optional)
- Type the fax number of the physical location (optional)
- Select a default eForm (if applicable)
- Type a description (optional)
- Click Create Location
Add Providers to the Created Location
Only users with "Provider-Admin" roles will be see the new location by default when creating an appointment. However, all roles will require providers to be added to the locations to where they are staffed.
Assigning Providers to this dropdown will allow you:
- To select the provider when scheduling an appointment
- To select the location when scheduling an appointment
New Providers:
When creating a new provider from the Providers tab, ensure that all locations are added to the Practitioner Location(s) field:
Existing Providers:
- Go to Settings > Locations.
- Click the name of the location.
- Scroll down to the"Provider List" table and click "Add".
- Select a provider's name from the dropdown.
- Click "Confirm" to add the provider to the Location
