Please select an option below for further information:
The first thing you'll need to set up is the tax.
In the Tax/Vat tab you will be able to associate any tax program related to your clinics.
For example, if your clinics are located in Quebec, you will be setting up a tax program for GST and QST. If your clinics are located in Ontario, you would be setting up a tax program for HST.
To create a tax program, start by clicking the add button, adding a tax name, your tax number, and the tax rate. For example, if you are setting up HST, the rate that you would put in would be 13, this will allow admins to select the tax rate instead of typing a tax rate, when setting up any service code or location or provider for the tax program.
The fee programs area allows you to create your payer/pay structures and create additional sub codes and groupings which are described below:
A fee program allows you to categorize or separate different fee structures, depending on who is paying for the surface.
For example, you can create an initial fee program for services that you'll be charging a regular set of fees or rates. You can then create fee programs based on a sliding scale for organizations that charge insurers to pay for services.
For example, provincial insurers, Manulife, or SunLife, they might charge different rates for the same healthcare service in agile care.
Each insurer should have their own fee program. Respective of their fee schedule create a fee program by clicking on the add button, filling out any relevant fields like name, type, phone number, fax number, address, and press save.
Once a fee program is created you will be able to edit, delete and create specific codes associated with this. To do so, select the 3 dots near the action tab and select the action you wish to take:
Specialty codes are normally used to categorize the type of provider that is performing the service provincial insurers and other insurance companies may have differing specialty codes, click add to fill out the specialty code information, to add this to your list under the fee program.
Service codes will tell Adracare how to charge a patient for service rendered or product sold in an invoice click add, fill out the service code information and save it.
Diagnostic codes are normally used to identify specific medical conditions. You are able to fill out the diagnostic code information and also save that to your feed program.
The billing templates make issuing invoices and charging patients quicker and easier.
Creating a template will allow a provider to pre-fill billing information when charging a patient after their appointment.
Select a healthcare service at the template will be associated to you and select fee programs and link them to specific specialty codes, diagnostic codes, or service codes that you've already previously created.
You can also associate specific providers to their income splits to billing templates, doing so will allow the system to do two things:
1. Filter the amount of templates loaded when billing a patient and
2. Reporting on income that provider will make for certain services.
The locations tab is where you are able to associate tax codes and other billing codes to a location.
Add these associations by clicking the add button, filling out the location and tax fields. If applicable a fee program and its respective code.
The providers tab is where you are able to associate tax codes and other billing codes to providers. To do so you will need to start by clicking add selecting the provider, adding tax fields, and if applicable a fee program and its respective code.
