Activating Existing Clients Accounts
There are three ways that existing clients can receive the account activation email
- Manually send an activation email
- Having the Client Reset their Password
- Manually activating their account
Once a client has activated their account their status should move to active when viewed from All Clients. This provides a simple way to confirm if they have activated their account.
Please note however that when you manually activate the client's account their status will move to active regardless if they activate their portal or not.
Manually send an activation email
- Open their Client Account
- From All Clients
- Go to the All Clients area
- Search for the relevant client you want to send an account activation to
- Click on the View Client Account icon
- From My Clients
- Go to My Clients
- Search for the relevant client you want to send an account activation to
- Click on their name to open their profile
- Click Edit Client Details
- Click View Client Account
- From All Clients
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the 'Resend' button
- The Client will receive a password reset email and will need to follow the prompts in the email to complete the password reset. Please ensure the client checks their junk/spam folder as emails may sometimes be automatically filtered into those folders.
Having the Client Reset their Password
Please refer to the article here for more information on the activation process
- Have your client go to the login page
- Select Forgot Password
- Input their contact email and select reset password
- Check their email for a Password reset email, if they do not see it they should check their spam and junk folders for emails from no-reply@adracare.com
- From there they should follow the activation instructions in the email
Manually activating their account
Note: This method will mark the client's status as active which means that you cannot use that status to track if the client activated their account or not
- Open their Client Account
- From All Clients
- Go to the All Clients area
- Search for the relevant client you want to send an account activation to
- Click on the View Client Account icon
- From My Clients
- Go to My Clients
- Search for the relevant client you want to send an account activation to
- Click on their name to open their profile
- Click Edit Client Details
- Click View Client Account
- From All Clients
- Select the Activate button, this will trigger the account activation email to be sent to the client and update their status from unclaimed to active
