To check if your browser and network settings are working correctly to use Video conferencing a connectivity check or Virtual test session can be done.
Connectivity Check
- Click the username at the top-right side of the page
- Click Settings
- Under the Connectivity Check section, click “Check Connection” to start the test
4. If the test detects something wrong, it will bring up a notification and a suggestion on how to fix the issue
5. If the test is successful, it will confirm that there are no issues detected
Test Virtual Session
- Click the username at the top-right side of the page
- Click Test Virtual Session
- If asked click Request Permissions to enable your Camera and Microphone permissions
- Click allow from the browser notification that appears
- Click Run Test
- Test your camera by confirming if you can see yourself (change your selected camera in the dropdown if you cannot)
- Test your speakers by confirming if you can hear music playing (change your selected speaker in the dropdown if you cannot)
- Test your microphone by speaking and listening to the playback (change your selected microphone in the dropdown if you cannot)
- Finally, run the network connection
- If the test detects something wrong, it will bring up a notification and a suggestion on how to fix the issue
- If the test is successful, it will confirm that there are no issues detected.
