Whether due to an error in booking or a change in availability, sometimes appointments need to be updated.
The following items can be edited without requiring the appointment to be rescheduled.
- Primary Provider
- Location
- Healthcare Service
- Room (for physical locations)
If the time or date of the appointment needs to be updated, then it must be rescheduled. For more information please see here.
Updating an Appointment
To update an appointment please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Appointment Details page
- This can be done several ways including,
- Clicking on the appointment on the Calendar page
- Clicking the link on the Appointments page
- Clicking on the appointment within a client's profile
- Within the Appointment Information portion on the left of the screen click on Edit
- An Edit Appointment window will appear where you can update the primary provider, or healthcare service
- After making any appropriate updates click Edit Appointment to save the changes or Close to close the window without saving
- If you do not want the participants to receive a change notification, uncheck Send update notification to participants
