What's New?
We are excited to introduce a new video experience designed for a more updated and seamless virtual session.
Breakout Rooms
Up to 20 breakout rooms can now be created to allow for enhanced group sessions.
Providers have the ability to assign individual participants to groups or have them be randomly assigned as well as broadcast messages to all active groups.

Whiteboard
At a loss for words? Adracare now supports in session whiteboards allowing providers more ways to work with their clients. A whiteboard can be opened from the upper left:
Clicking on the whiteboard button will open it in a new tab as well as a request to share your screen. For the best experience we recommend holding ctrl on your keyboard when you open a whiteboard so your browser opens it in the background.
A few things to note about whiteboards:
Whiteboards are not collaborative
- Each person who opens a whiteboard has their own unique whiteboard instance.
Whiteboard data is not saved
- Anything entered in the whiteboard is not saved and when the whiteboard is closed it is cleared. Starting a new whiteboard session will open a new whiteboard session
Within a whiteboard session you are able to:
- Create shapes such as rectangles, circles, diamonds
- Create arrows
- Create lines
- Free hand draw
- Add text
- Upload an image

Participants are now able to raise their hand, or send through a reaction emoji both in chat and within the session.
Same but Different
Not everything is new, some of your favourite in session features have received an update to create a more seamless experience for you.

Session notes are still available in session and are now opened with the button on the upper left.
Which, as before, will open a panel on the right side of the screen:
Accessing the Client's Profile
Client's profiles are still available in session and are now opened with the button on the upper left.
Allowing access to their:
- Questionnaires
- Other appointments
- Documents
- And more...
Which, as before, will open a panel on the right side of the screen:
Sharing Documents
Documents can be shared in session by clicking the 'paperclip' icon in the upper left.
Which as before, will open a window where you can upload a document from your device.
Participant Management
With the new video experience comes enhanced abilities for managing participants as the provider.
As a provider, you now:
- Mute participants or request someone to unmute
- Turn off a participant's camera or request that they turn their camera on
As well, clients now need to be let in to the session instead of immediately joining. After completing their pre-call test the client must knock and wait for you to let them into the session.

Joining Experience
The joining experience with the new video experience has been updated to include:
- A built in pre call test that checks the:
- Browser permissions are set
- That your selected audio device is properly playing sound
- That your selected microphone is properly working
- Overall Connection Quality
- A knock where client's cannot join a session until they are let in by the provider
After completing the pre-call test, clients and guests will knock informing the provider that they are ready to join.
Provider's then have the option to let the participant in, or respond letting them know they are not ready.
